Discovering Butter London's 'Backstage Basics' Kit

So recently I got my hands on a gorgeous Butter London 'Backstage Basics' nail lacquer kit. This brand are becoming a bit of a cult phenomenon because of their edgy nail colours, cute packaging and generally high fashion feel, so I was preeeetty eager to try them out.... plus the kit looked absolutely gorgeous! This particular kit plays on the fact that Butter London was widely used backstage at London Fashion Week shows. Irish beauty site, beautymatters.ie, are now stocking the brand and SO with it now available online in Ireland literally at your fingertips, there was never a better time to review it!.

My kit contained a 'nail foundation', my chosen colour (which in this case was an electric, hot pink called 'SNOG'), a top coat, a lacquer remover and a cute nail file. This kit (in which you would place your own specific chosen colour) would retail online at about €50. I loved the vivid colour! It came out so strong and bright. It didnt require a second coat either which I was pleasantly surprised at. Using the nail foundation base coat probably helped with that to be fair. It scored high on the longevity scale too. But above all, I just love the look of the Butter London kit on my dressing table!! It's simply adorable.
I am definitely feeling the 'Butter London' buzz!
